Parent and Family Engagement Playbook

Research consistently shows that safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments are associated with improved academic achievement and the emotional well-being of students.  One goal of an effective supportive learning environment is for students to be surrounded by adults they can trust and who are committed to building strong relationships.  

The TCSS will develop a parent and family engagement playbook with resources and tools that LEAs can use to partner and build support with parents and families.  The playbook will facilitate a student support partnership with parents and families prior to a student support team assessment and during the student support implementation process.
